Topic: Can't get 5.6 LDAP to work

I have tried to use LDAP from webmail w/ the stock IMP on 5.6, and IMP 3.2.1.  Both fail to return any contacts.  My message log shows:

I also can not get LDAP to work on 5.6 from Outlook Express.  I have used LDAP with 5.1.2 using webmail and Outlook Express.  Did something change with 5.6???  What do I need to do?

Did you ever find a solution to this?  I'm getting the same error on my system.

Abe,

I didn't find a solution, but I found the problem..I used SME 5.5 backup.tgz file to restore SME 5.6...the schema is different and it messes up LDAP....

hope that helps..I had to rebuild a fresh 5.6 and manually enter users...but email messages are recoverable if you want mess with extracting them.....
