Adding Users in 5.6U4

Hi guys,

I have just installed 5.6U4 on my server using 2 scsi hd's 1 as system drive and other as /home.

What I did is backed up the passwd, smbpasswd, group, gshadow and shadow from my 5.1.2 box and installed them on my 5.6 everything works i can access internet, get mail, open all documents but what i cant do is create a new user or ibay via the webinterface (but i can modify the users i pulled from my 5.1.2 system ok) i check the logs and i noticed when creating user it does everything up until actually having to PHYSICALLY CREATE IT on the system.

In the /var/log/messages I see this error Out Of Memory httpd. This is in my log about 5 times.

This is a powerful machine and has 512 of memory, has anyone got any suggestions?
