Hi all,
I have to move the hdd on one SME 5.6 server from the on board Primary Master to the Primary Master of an add-on controller, but must not turn off the on board controllers as they will be connected to other devices still.
The old reference to the hdd is /dev/hda and the new reference will be /dev/hde.
Now, aside from /etc/lilo.conf and /etc/fstab, is there any other file I need to update that might still be referring to the hard disk as /dev/hda ?
What if I need to transfer an IDE tape drive from /dev/hdd to /dev/hdg ? What files / links will I need to change then ?
