I've rescently done a fresh install using 5.6, and restored the data from a 5.2 backup.
Mail clients are outlook and outlook express.
After about 4 hours, the IMAP clients say they can't contact the server, the error is with the Username and IMAP port 143. A reboot of the serer and everything comes good.
I have added to this server Spamassassin (but it is disabled at the moment), also Webalizer and anti-virus.
Anybody seen this before and have a fix, or am I best off re-installing with 5.5
