Probs with Service Control and VPN RPMs
« on: May 19, 2001, 10:11:21 AM »
I recently downloaded the rpms "e-smith-service-control-1.1.0-01.noarch.rpm" and "e-smith-vpn-0.1-2.noarch.rpm" from the contribs section of the e-smith website. After installing them, the web control interface is hosed. It appears to be a permissions problem in the "common" directory but since I don't know what the permissions settings were in the first place, I don't know what to chown -R them as. Can anyone here help me out?

I had to chmod 755 the /etc/e-smith/web/common,pannel and functions directories.

All seems to be ok now and it was worth the time looking into the problem.

What can I do with VPN ??

success
