Let me be the first to comment at my dislike for the Microsoft gestapo tatics.

Right now I'm using the AvMailGate software and it appears to be working ok.  What's sad is that RAV charges for their product, and to complicate matters, they have sold out to Microsoft who in-turn will assimilate them and destroy them (What's new).

The good news is that RAV's spot will probably be taken fairly quickly by someone; hopefully with a more community minded mentality.

And now I'm going to return to my mind-rot spoon-fed Microsoft environment where I'm constantly abused, forced, and prodded by worthless dialog boxes informing me that a new version of Windows Media Player is available and that there are some unused icons on the desktop.

I'm still waiting for XP 2004, where it will graciously inform you that you are exceeding your naturally predefined bed time and it has been 8 minutes since you last consumed your daily quota of water.

I have tried a couple of AV's and AntiVir seems to me to do the job, as well as ClamAV, I just prefer AntiVir as it is made by a company, so they have vested intrest in keeping it updated.
