Topic: Start-Homepage on v6.0 Beta2

Hi,

after an update from 5.6 to 6.0 Beta2 (no fresh install) my private homepage is only local (http://www.rathome.org - this is only local, not a internetside!). If I visit the site from outside (DynDns) I see 'This information bay has not yet been customized'. If I make a page from the e-smith-manager it is the same. On 5.6 it was ok.

On v5.6 I could local use http://The-Server-Name.Hostname.org for the side, this is now not possible.

Someone know a tip, or should I wait for a update or better make a fresh install ?

Comments or bug reports should be sent to smebugs@mitel.com (and only there, please)

Please read the instructions on info pages and try and help the Mitel folk and the development community debug V6 BETA 2 asap.

You should only be running V5.6 or V5.5 on a production machine.

I am sure V6 will be released as stable in a very short time.

thank you for your  reply. But I'm not really a Linux-Freak and so it's maybe not a bug. Maybe I make a mistake. And of course it is not a production machine where I use Beta2

This wasn't a criticism Ralf. If your a Linux newbie (most here are!) it will probably be much easier to load the stable versions which are almost completely bug free.

I am anxiously awaiting some of the features of V6 but will not load it until Mitel give it the OK, as stable for production machines.

If you want to play go right ahead, enjoy, but please send reports where Mitel have requested.

If you read the notes that come with SMe6B1 it tells you that the primary site is now in an ibay called primary.

Just move your site files to here and you should be fine.

That being said I suspect this should be done as part of the upgrade.

It should happen automatically. There should be no change to websites on an upgrade.

Please folks, only use 6.0 beta releases to help find bugs, and report anything out of the ordinary to smebugs@mitel.com. Don't waste your time and ours by asking for help here.

Bug report please Ralf, if you haven't sent one already.
