Topic: 5.5 update 6 causes backups to double in time

I just noticed that after applying the 5.5 update 6 to an sme server that ever since the flexbackup has not only increased in cpu utilization, but now takes almost 7 hours for 20gb of data instead of the 4 hours that it used to. I have tracked this down to changing the day after the update was applied.

Has anyone else noticed anything similar?

Hi,

you probably had hdparm enabled before the update (?).
The update quietly disables hdparm.
