Topic: internet problems with SME6.0beta2 and SME5.6 update4

I'm not sure if it is 6.0b2 or our ISP, but the internet access since installing (fresh) 6.0b2 has become a pain, sometimes it works others it doesn't.

If it doesn't connect to sites/pop servers, I wait for a few minutes and it works again!

I'm using the Alcatel SpeedTouch Pro on a 512k ADSL.

has anyone else had a similar experience?

hi all!

i thought im the only one having this problem but i guess not. im using an SME5.6 server with update2 with an ADSL (256kbps) connection. then SME6.0b2 was released so i tried it out (fresh install). but i discovered later that the internet connection became so shittie. sometimes its it connected to the internet but we in the LAN cant connect to the net. sometimes it is connected to the net and sharing it to the LAN but it is so very slow (which unusually happen to me) and sometimes im experiencing those problems Mahmood experienced.

so i went back to SME5.6. i updated it to update2 again. everything is fine then. then i downloaded update4, then i noticed that im experiencing what i was experiencing in the SME6.0beta2.

whats with SME5.6 update4 and SME6.0beta2? why is this happening?

now im reinstalled SME5.6 and only updated it to update2. im waiting for futher info from you guys why is this happening before updating to update4.
