Topic: Subfolders in webmail e-smith 5.6u4

Can't create subfolders in webmail e-smith 5.6u4.

In Webmail:
Go to 'folders'  
click on box next to inbox
click on 'create folder'
type in the name of the folder & click 'ok'
message says "INBOX/foldername" was successfully created
but you cant see the @#$% thing!
It just doesn't show up (yes I have checked the box next to inbox)

When I try to recreate folder it says it can't as it already exists.

I have searched the forums with no luck.

when you open up the folders window - try clicking on "show unsubscribed". If your folders all appear it sounds like you have IMAP folder subscriptions turned on in options and you'll need to "subscribe" to the folders.

I have done all these things but the subfolders just don't show up.

I know it works in v6beta 2 but this is a production server.

So I tried to upgrade webmail with the IMP/Horde/PHP upgrade how to by Greg Zartman but it fails dependencies.

Is there a how to preceding the above?

You can create subfolders for any folder other than INBOX.

Not true.

I can now create subfolder to the inbox and they even show up in outlook!

I had to force the install of Dan Brown's IMP/horde/PHP update and despite it compalining ( forget the exact error) it works!
