With a 5.6u5 fresh install and no contribs added, I installed the latest ez-ipupdate contrib from contribs.org: dmc-mitel-ez-ipupdate-3.0.12-0.noarch.rpm and followed the instuctions in the howto.
I cannot get the service to start. The error is "error parsing config file". Looking in the /etc/easydns.conf file I see "name=myeasydnsuser:myeasydnspassword" on the second line. Checking one of my 5.5 installations that is functioning properly with an earlier version of this contrib, I see that "user=" appears instead of "name=".
The messages log indicates "easynds: /etc/easydns.conf,21: unknown command: name"
Does anyone know how to get rid of the "name" and replace it with "user"? I tried modifying the 10easydns script in /etc/e-smith/templates/etc/easydns.conf but that did not work - it simply added another set of the easydns commands at the bottom of easydns.conf.
Thanks for any help,
jim
