Hi there... I'm having a bit of an odd problem with e-smith
I need to be able to access my server via FTP(public) and Telnet(locally). I've used the web based admin to set SSH, FTP and Telnet to Full public access. Even after doing this, I get 'connection refused' to FTP and 'Connect failed' to Telnet (locally and public).
SSH works and thats the only reason I've stayed using e-smith!! I did used to have a Redhat 7 server set up but a mate of mine took the motherboard. Since then I've not been able to get the dang network card to work so I thought instead of reinstalling Redhat linux, I'd give e-smith a go (seeing as it's basically a tweaked version of Redhat Linux and all that I need anyway).
Help much appreciated before I have to spend half a day configuring a new Redhat Linux 7 server!!!
