Topic: MotorolaSB5100 Cable modem

Hi All
Has anyone had any experience with the MotorolaSB5100 Cable modem?
My cable internet provider upgraded my modem today and now I
can't get my SME5.5 to get back on the net.

I can hook up a work station directly to the modem and get on the net but not through SME.
I had a STATIC IP for the server .
Now funny thing is when connected to the net directly (and using a dynamic IP)
I can PING the gateway of my STATIC IP but not the STATIC IP itself.
I have thoughts that my IP address may have been changed athough I was not notified.
Or there may be issues with the MODEM
If anyone has any ideas I would Appreciate it.

It turns out ,the Cable ISP did not configure my Static IP at their end, and I only
have Dymamic ips to work with at the moment.
I installed Darrell Mays ezipupdate contrib in the mean time.
