I want to manage my bandwidth on clients through server-manager how can i do that

there are several contribs.
all are discussed here in the forum.
search for "QoS" or for "cbq".

i have done it but i am unable to restart the cbq.init
through i have created a cg-i file to start cbq.init, server-manager shows the stats  but it does not starts or restart can u explain why and how to do this

cbq is started with the command:

cbq start

it is stopped by:

cbq stop

There is no restart.  It is not a service, so you can not start with:

service cbq start

ok i know that but how can i do this from the server manager

use putty or ssh to login to your server.
then you have a console and can type in these commands.

maybe you have to do this as root.

I m trying to add the deleted user from server-manager but it is givng the error

Error: the account "rakesh" can't be created because there is already a user-deleted account of that name.

Kindly help me for the same..
