I wish E-Smith provided adequate documentation concerning templates that have to be used instead of modifying the original hosts.allow and hosts.deny to kill ftp and telnet. Please throw something on the page about this...it is driving me nuts trying to figure it out.

The template system is documented on the developer web site - http://www.e-smith.org/. If you think there are specific deficiencies in the documentation, please send email with details to bugs@e-smith.com.

If you would like assistance in modifying your e-smith server and gateway, a posting to the Advanced Forum will often get helpful and informative replies.
