Hi:

I just noticed, while testing a workstation, that the forum here can not be accessed with the Lynx browser...at least, not with the Lynx browser I was using.

With Netscape, user's bulletin board is displayed between e-smith.org and download.  With Lynx, user's bulletin board does not appear.

Known problem?

Hi Colin,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! We'll fix it shortly. (We rearranged our web site and forgot to test with Lynx.)

Best regards,

Well spotted.

You might like to try another text mode browser. Grab the RPM
for w3m from http://e-smith.gormand.com.au/ if you do. It handles frames and tables better than lynx does, IMO.

Charlie:

I might get a chance to check that out later this week, thanks.  I am using Lynx to test  an idea for our telephone answering service operators to use basic Linux boxes to send alpha-numeric paging messages via the web, rather than with dialup dedicated alpha terminals.  Lynx is OK, but a bit "stark" to most Windows users...
