A simple way to upadete the good old kernel will be much appriciated. Eg. the current release is based on the RH kernel 2.2.16xx and this does not support the ide RAID chipset HPT 370 from highpoint technologies (found as onboard controllers from ABIT and ASUS motherboards). If raid has to be used at a cheap cost using ide drives and thru hardware to nkeep things simple there is no possibility of doing it without expensive SISI controllers and drives...
So in simple wishes include support for kernel updating on the boot floppy (or some other way before the system can start the e-smith installation, and result with no drives found) or if there is alreadya way to do so link some details if possible.
