I would like to see enhanced IDE support for the ALI Alladin V chipset (aka ALI 1543, e.g. used on Asus P5A (-B) bords) to make use of the advanced UDMA features.
In the moment these IDE ports are only detected as "standard IDE" ports and DMA is not used and cannot be activated with hdparm either.
Alternatively I would be happy with the kernel .config file as well, I would then be able to compile a patched kernel by myself.
