I would like very much if you would support network printing via - ip in a future version. I use an inexpensive 10/100 Print Server. However I have not been able to get it to work with e-smith. It does however work on a "standard" Samba or NT server setup. I thought it would work if I just configured everything to be "RAW" output. No go.
Please look at adding that functionality. It would be important so that people can quickly and easily install a printer anywhere they can get a network drop.
Also, e-smith should allow for storing the printer driver software, like the way NT/Samba does.
