Topic: scanner server

I'm using e-smith for a file server, print server, application server and a gateway/router. I have a SCSI driven scanner on a client and would like to use e-smith as a scanner server. I can stuff the SCSI card in the e-smith box, but can I get e-smith to support the scanner?

I have software for the clients to config for a network scanner, but it's MS software, not for the Linux server.
