Hi I think I have the Highpoint HPT370A working at this moment only with one disk connected to it, but later disk week I'll have a second disk attached it.
So maybe a stupid question, wher must I put the hpt370.o file in E-smith because i've combined both the post on thois forum and the highpoint manual, but there should be an easier way !
The funny part is that the module is loaded because when I type lsmod the file is displayed, but on startup there is a message on the screen unable to locate file hpt370.o ?????
So three questions ?
1 is there a specific place to save the modules and where
2 in which file must a say that the module is loaded at startup, and that is found automaticly (I edited the file /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit)
3 When the second drive is attached is it possible to check if the raid-1 is really working ?
