Angelus,

top will show things like service and cpu useage, but the one you are looking for is:

ps -fax

This will show you all processes and anything run under them,

Enjoy!

Is there anyway to see that info like page by page. Some information gets lost if i look throw server monitor.

And do you know what are those things: nut, ippp, ntpd, diald, pppoe - linux shows that those are disabled

Thanks for helping,

angelus -

You're posting to "Wish List: A place to suggest new features and enhancements in future releases of the e-smith server and gateway." Your questions aren't appropriate here.

The more appropriate place would be "General discussion: Installation problems, comments, feedback, and basic questions about the e-smith server and gateway."

However your questions aren't even terribly appropriate there either as they're really just basic Linux questions and there are literally hundreds of good references available on the net.

As to a manual, consider following the suggestion that appeared on the screen when you posted your question: "It is highly recommended that you read the e-smith server and gateway user guide. http://www.e-smith.org/docs/manual/".

Failing that, back to the suggestion to show some initiative and go to any search engine and find a guide to Linux commands that suits your needs and style.

By the way, reading the manual and doing a web search are always good places to start, particularly when you're not sure what you're doing. Even if the manual or search doesn't answer your question directly it'll usually help you word it better.

Finally having done the reading & searching will reassure the folks you're asking for help that you're not just looking to be spoon-fed but are actually interested in helping yourself.
