Topic: Crashed HP Pavillion

Help!!!!!!
just ran the instalition, everything went well, except i think i got the internal and external network the wrong way round as there was no internet ( cable blueyonder)
so i swaped. set the system to reset, it did, restarted and locked , total lock, then had to power off. restarted. nothing, no screen nothing, then tried again.still nothing, tried the boot disk, still nothing, no monitor, no hdd activity
this is a HP Pavillian 166. two nics  1 pic (cable access) 1 isa ( home network)
and now im stumped , i have replaced the cable nic back in my win box, so i could send this..but im stumped totaly..any help greatly accepted

No specific help but if it gives any encourgement, I have mine set up on a HP pavillion 133 and working well. Am using in a test  one nic card and one dial out as I have not moved the server down to the museum here.  Wehnit end up at the museum will have 2 nic cards.

if you are getting no lights no monitor image etc... is it possible the powersupply in the  server cab. is dead? It almost sounds like too extreme of a death sign  to be just the op. sys.  perhaps a hardware falure.  Did you try reloading  m$ on it? or is it just a dead  dead  thing?
