Topic: permissions not keeping settings in 6.0 beta 3

this is prolly not even a bug, but i will report it anyway.
i have tried about 5 different ways to make my 2nd mounted HDD have full permissions.
But each way i try it, when i do ls -la, the permissions are back to with no WRITE.

Even if i type "chmod -V 777 /mnt/network" it tells me after that it has give permissions of 0777 (DRWXRWXRWX)   but then i do "ls -la" and it only has (DRWXR-XR-X) or something like it.  
Even if i do it in MC, goto advanced chown and physically change the permissions in there to 0777, if i go back in after i have changed the settings they have reset to no write.

so i dont know if its a bug or something im doing wrong.

It's not a bug, since there is no support for adding additional hard drives.

The beta program is over, so nobody should be using beta3.
