Win 98 and pptp bug

SME 6.0 won’t let windows 98 log on to SME 6.0 via pptp any more. I have a windows 98 computer with two pptp VPN dial up connections. One to a 5.6 box and one to a 6.0 box. Both are configured the same other than the ip of the two SME servers and the user names and passwords. Win 98 can log into the 5.6 but not the 6.0. For more information se this post.

I have just upgraded from 5.6 to 6.0 and vpn works OK from win98SE and Win2K so I don't think it is an inherent bug in sme v6.0.
See my comment in your other thread.
