Names resolving to pc-00001.domain.com format

Names resolving to pc-00001.domain.com format

Why are all my computers names resolving to this format and not the name I entered into the hostname panel, when I do a ping sweep?  It's like the reverse lookup does not work.

This is a know issue that has been and continues to be discussed. Try searching for'pc-0' and you will fine plenty on this topic.
