HI All,

  I cannot access my www.company.com web site internaly. My Gateway SME Server configured as company.com (MY web site host by ISP)

  first I try deleting www.
  Scond I try putting web site IP address in hostname and set remotly.

 I try in general User no luck. pls help me to access our web site. when browse  DNS error.

Hi Cosy,

This has come up a number of times.

In general, all you need to do is change the www entry under hostnames and addresses to point to the IP address of your actual website and remember to tell it that it is remote.

You *might* need to reboot the server after that (in some cases I had to, in others I did not). But almost always, you need to tell IE to refresh with Ctrl-F5.

There are instanstances where this does not work - search the forums for specific examples.

Try using your ISP's dns server as opposed to your e-smith box.
