Hi,

I use e-smith with a modem scheduled to dialup my ISP at a certain time interval.  However when I use WebMail and send a message to an external (Internet) address e-smith connects immediately to send this message.  I want it to hold the message(s) in que until it dials via crontab.  How do I make the dialler ignore smtp request between the scheduled dialups?

Also in the e-smith manager we have the opportunity to specify intervals (i.e. every 2nd hour etc) the ISP should be dialled to exchange messages. How can I specify specific moments (i.e. 08:00, 12:30 etc) instead of intervals.  Could someone specify an example of a custom template for this?

Finally regarding squid.  I see that it is setup to deny any internet access from client computers.  Where can I find an example of a custom template allowing http access for, say, 192.168.30.23 and 192.168.30.50 - 192.168.30.59 ?

I have tried to browse the docs but I feel I need some examples to get started with this in a proper way.
