installing scsi tape drive on 5.6

Hello I am trying to install the drivers for an Adaptex scsi controller which is the model Adaptec AHA2930CU.
This connected to a Travan tape drive.

Can anyone advise thge procedure and were I can find the controller for this card. I believe the Adaptec AHA2930U model is compatible so I will use the controler for this, but where is it? Is it already in a folder on the SME 5.6 server?

I have searched high and low on only found Darrel Mays input which was quite good but did not have all the answers..
Sorry guys, I am a little green on this one. Any help is appreciated... TIA Greg

do an "upgrade" to your server.
just put in the 5.5-sme CD and do again a setup.
the setup will find your adaptec and do nothing else to aour system than installing the driver for the adaptec.

Thanks for the info...

Tried the upgrade and still wouild not function. I would say it is not finding the card. Also tried with a new Tekram card which is Linux OK and still not found???. Is there some other config that is needed?

TIA Greg
