Virtual Domain webmail

Hello everyone,

I recently upgraded from SME 5.6 to SME 6 because my server decided to crash to the point of no return.

Anyway, on my old server I was able to create emails to send and recieve on 5.6 with virtual domains. Now since I decided to upgrade, all of the email accounts on 6's virtual domains get bounced back to the sender and also get the following message when I try to send emails. "553 Sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts."

Can some one please help?

I have one main domain and 2 virtual domains

Did you created virtual domains after the install otherwise he don't accept mails for domains that are not on the server.

so you got now:

admin@primarydomain.com

but if you make a virtual domain then you get:

admin@primarydomain.com
admin@virtualdomain.com

Darrell May posted a howto on this subject.
I don't exactly remember the name, but it's about linking virtual domain mail-adresses to mail-adresses on the primary domain.
Search and thou shalt find.
Otherwise get back to us.

Gizmor and Wyron,

Thanks for the responses.

I think the last time I set up the virtual domains first and then created users.

This time I think I created the users first then added the virutal domains and then gave rights to the users to the virutal domains. Do you think that is the problem?
