I am trying to load version 6 overtop of that crappy xp pro...For some reason it does not allow the executable to kick in....xp keeps loading...Yes I checked the bios and the cd rom is picked up first.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi Jack,
Can you boot to a floppy, such as a win98 boot disk? If so just run fdisk and delete the ntfs partition(s) and then it should boot to CD. I hope this helps.

how to burn a CD

When burning CD you not must burn the iso file.
It´s a different option of normal burn!
When you open your CD , you must see SEVERAL files and not just a .iso file!

BEFORE THIS
Just be sure your CD is OK and can boot on other computer!

After be sure...try to do "FDISK /MBR"
after boot from Win98 disk/CD

So he never will boot with old OS!

And you burnt a good iso cd, then remove anything else than CD in the boot sequence. Even the 'Try other boot device' option if it's there
