Hey all,
How do I change the default mail failure retry time for outgoing mail on an SME server.
At current/default it's set to 7 days or something ridiculous.

You'll want to update the number of seconds in the following file:

/var/qmail/control/queuelifetime

SME doesn't come with a queuelifetime control file. Supposedly, you can create the file at /var/qmail/control/ and it will work.

The sole contents should be the number of seconds you want qmail to continue to send the message.

260,000 works out to about three days.
