I have installed moregroupware on an SME 6.0.01 and the installation went perfect. I tested most of the modules and seem that work fine exept webmail2. I can send but i can not receive emails. I get "failed(invalid hostname)".I have changed the name to localhost, internal IP, external IP but no cigar. Did anyone had the same problem?

The interface mgw is polished and installation runs smooth on an SME 6.0.01. The only problem i ecounter is that the webmail2 module could send but not receive any email. Every time i try to receive the msg i would get "failed(invalid hostname)" I tried localhost, public ip, private ip, mail.mydomain.xxx nothing. Does anyone have the same problem?

What kind of trouble do you have with mimerdesk on 6.0

The two install commands I used for mimerdesk on 5.6 were

bin/installmimer --whole -z

and

bin/installmimer --wwwuser=www --wwwgroup=www -a

I found I had to use the second one because of permissions but it also seemed to run through some of the same install routines as the previous so I'm not sure if there is a way to combine the two or not.

The "failed(invalid host)" show because I did not specified the name of the pop3 server. Woooooo what was i thinking?

im using the Moregroupware interim release 0.7.1 interim. Since youve    got the Clam antivirus with amavis on your system, set your path to /usr/bin/clamscan or if on you want to use the antivirus scanner installed on your workstation, set your path to your *.exe file (c:\scan.exe)

i have a problem sending out emails outside my domain, sending locally is ok but i get "error sending mail" when sending to a yahoo account or to other domain. Funny thing is when i tried to access my yahoo account, the email is there. No problem receiving mails on my end. I this a bug? is there a fix for this. appreciate if you can post it here. tnx

im using a SME 6.0.1-01 (custom), set as email server also.

Oh will a check on the webmail2_disable_local_send fix this?
