Topic: Problem with Imap on sme 6

Outlook express doesnt seem to connect to the imap server returning me a error:
   Protocol: IMAP
   Poort: 143
   Beveiligd(SSL): 0
   CODE: 800ccc0f
The imap log file says:
tcpserver: ok 3073 pc
00257.xxxxxxxxxxxx.nl:10.0.1.1:143 :10.0.0.69::1035
tcpserver: warning: dropping connection, unable to run makesock: file does not exist
tcpserver: end 3073 status 28416
tcpserver: status: 0/20

Any ideas why i can't collect mail through imap?

Is it an updated Outlook with 128 bit encrypton module or the standard 56 bit enc? 128 bit is not available in the States i guess, but i'm not sure.

Its an 128 bits outlook express client.

Does the webmail work on yourserver.xxx/webmail ?

I cannot login with webmail either.

Login with telnet on port 143 from within the network doesnt work also.

A portscan tells me port 143 is open.

Ok i solved it.

I installed the yum contrib.
And updated some rpms from the legacy fedora project.

Reinstalling the stunnel rpm from the 6.0 cd repaired
the broken imap and webmail.
