Herems will integrate into your webmail on your SME server. It is coded by the same group that made Webmail.

Pretty rough howto for dcl

1 Create an Ibay - adjust values as you see fit

Information bay name    cms
Description             cms
Group                   Everyone
User access via file sharing or user ftp  Write = group, Read = group
Public access via web or anonymous ftp  Local network (no password required)
Execution of dynamic content (CGI, PHP, SSI): enabled

2 Download and untar dcl under /home/e-smith/files/ibays/cms/html
3 chown -R root.shared /home/e-smith/files/ibays/cms/html/dcl
4 chmod 0777 /home/e-smith/files/ibays/cms/html/dcl/inc
5 Browse to http://server_name/cms/dcl/setup
6 Follow the setup wizard and use the following

Database Username  -       root
Database Password  -       obtain from /root/.my.cnf
Database Name      -       pickaname

7 At the end log in user = sa password = sa
8 Knock yourself out

Hi, Thank you for u'r great help sending the How To's. I got only one server so i thought get some more info before install "DCL"

I have looked around for Groupwares and project Mgt software. eg MoreGroupware,PHProjekt,Sherpath, PHPGroupware, Post-Nuke, GreyMatter, phpBB 2.0.0, TWiki, Twiggi,Anthill,Bugtrack,GNATS,Mantis Bug Tracking System,Request Tracker, scarab,Tech Tracker
TUTOS, Workbench

What I am looking at installing a groupware tool for a small group of 10-20 tech's in all around the Australia and New Zealand.
They need to be able to enter their Technical Details (I got the Template), visio diagram and Notes of their Clients.

In main HQ the project manager can eveluate the work after that the clients need to be abel to log on and see their resualt.

i think lot's of people using one of the above groupware. So please tell me by looking my requirement
which one i should select to install.

Look up the IRM project. (http://sourceforge.net/projects/irm/) I have installed it easily in an iBay. Specifically designed for computers, networks, etc...

Hey IRM rose from ashes :) I've tried it couple of years ago and its sucked...a lot. I see dev picked up and it looks quite good now.
I have list of the utils at work. I'll get back here sometimes this week and post some more.
At the momment im using TrackIT (comercial) & i've been looking for free replacement for quite some time.

After having gone round and round looking at all of them [it seems] Endless mysql databases and installs I have returned to PHP Groupware.

Modules Used
Latest Anglemail
Contacts..
Timetracker just works. Generates timesheets [Yahoo]
PHP Brain [knowledge base] Needs a tweak
Infolog is a lovely random brain dummp, phone log thingy for those as disorganised as me!
project pulls it all together if you are that organised.
Lock files to project.
Locks Infolog entry to project
People to projects
timetrack to contacts

You will notice i haven't mentioned calender...
This is because we respond to requests pretty much as they come in. The calender works fine. Just doesn't fit with our structure.

We are also moving all our accounting to ck-ledger within PHPGroupware. We will see how it goes. :-D

I would very much like to know how you set up IRM in E-Smith. Its looks like it might do what we have been looking for in a tracking asset management software. I muddled around and managed to get part way there but basically got stuck. A Howto for dummies is about my speed. :) We're on 6.0 BTW.
Thanks in advance
