Topic: Custom ISO with new PHP and Horde

I am in the process to create my custom ISO with SME 6.01.

On my production machine (6.0) I have upgraded PHP and Horde (with PEAR) but since the how-to for upgrading PHP/Horde requires a number of manual actions (as installing pear), I don't know if it is possible to just incorporate the "new" PHP rpms to upgrade.

Is it possible to create a script or something that will perform the manual actions and then incorporate with the new ISO so it will install automatically?

Can anyone advise?
