Topic: feeling a little confused

Hello people, I have just installed a new install of 5.6, I had 5.1.2 and ..well it died...(lol)..my e-smith guru moved and I am in need of learning. I have my server up and running,and connected and email up and running. I am inprocess of trying to install rpm's to configure my website. I have unsuccessfully tried the rpm install for browser as here: http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/smeserver/contribs/dungog/help/SMEhelp/Installing%20RPMs.html  I have followed the instructions faithfully..I made a new ibay called rpms uploaded the rpm to rpms/html, went into putty and in my rpms/html directory [root@mitel html]#(I typed) "rpm -Uvh devinfo-mitel-update-system-0.1-15.noarch.rpm" (without quotations)

I get a responce back saying "error: open rpm -Uvh devinfo-mitel-update-system-0.1-15.noarch.rpm failed: no such file or directory"   Yet when I type dir..  I see the file.. what am I over looking?

I have permissions set a 764 and my ibay access is set to  write:group read:everyone  and ftp is local network no password  also enabled dynamic content

any help or responce from any of you would be deply appreciated, please keep the responcess tame as not to hurt my ego..

make sure that you type the rpm name exactly like it is.  Make sure capital letters are capital and that lower case is lower case.

This I am aware of...actually I cut and pasted it from site..changed the question mark to version number...

Well People...seems like I had a glitch in my laptop..tryed from another computer on my network..and rpm took...thanks All!!!
