Topic: Future SME base question

Any chance progress/decisions/debates etc regarding the future of SME can be published to the Development area of the site?  I would like to know what distros (if any) are being considered to replace Red Hat.  I would like this kind of info so I can download any distros that might endup being the SME base.  Hopefully this will allow users with limited linux experience to get a head start by learning a new distro(s), long before SME retires Red Hat.

Thats a good point.  I had to learn rh linux to learn this.  It would be nice to know what I need to brush up on to stay afloat.
