Topic: How to install mod_ssi

I'd like to enable server-side includes (SSI) on the apache server in SME 5.5.   Does anyone have any tips on how to do this?  I found a forum topic on installing mod_dav and tried to modify that, but I still can't execute any SSI, which I need to be able to do in order to install a particular content management system (NewzBruiser).
