Topic: Primary I-Bay and PHP-MySQL

Is there any reason why after an upgrade to 6.0 the primary web page stops connecting to MyySQL with PHP and the rest of the I-Bays can connect?
After the upgrade from 5.6 the code stopped working only within the primary web page. Is this an new feature on 6.0 I missed?

I have had the same problems running geeklog in the primary ibay.  The php code calls other php files outside the ibay and will work in other ibays but not the primary.  See  http://www.e-smith.org/faq.php3#6q12

I'd love to know how to override this "feature" if in fact that is the problem.
