Topic: Shared IMAP Folders ?

Is there any provision to share IMAP folders so that other users might subscribe to them ?
My understanding is that SME's IMAP is not ACL aware so installed the Courier IMAP tool which went in OK. It appears though that the Courier implementation is a standalone shared foder system - you can't seem to share an existing user's Inbox (for example).
Anyone have this working ?

we have a separate user called office, then several office staff subscribe to this milbox/folder as well as there own mailbox. this works better than a mail group for us because if the office mail was sent to every user you don't know who has dealt with what mail.
