ok, I have been using Red Hat 9 and done a lot of work getting Horde and PHP to play nice together on a full blown system. I have been given the task at work of getting some Toshiba Magnia SG20's and SG10's sellable. The stock software sucks. I have been trying SME server on it. Works great!.
I see the killer app as the new version of Horde with most of the modules installed. So what all do I need to do for that to happen? I'm thinking I need to upgrade PHP. I saw a faq about doing that.
I have followed the phpgroupware howto and modified it for horde, but I'm getting some conflicting errors and references when trying to access the website. Also getting blank pages with no error on them.
So is it possible to disable the standard version of horde and install a conpletely fresh one? I modified the /home/e-smith/configuration file and changed it to disabled. Do i have to run another command? I executed the one to rebuild the httpd.conf file. seems to have worked.
I'm still not getting Horde 3.0 Alpha working. I'm not even gonna try the CVS versions yet. If I get good enough feedback i'll probably make a HowTo for everyone.
