I know I could just create users on the e-smith server and it would not prompt me to enter a password when the IPC$ resource box pops up. But is there anyway to allow all users who use the right password? I mean, to make it so the username does not matter, and if it's the right password they can view the i-bays. I could change in the samba security preferences to equal "share" instead of "user". But I want to allow SOME people to log onto the esmith server so they have private network shares, while still allowing the other people to just log onto it. I like how 2000 and xp do it. How they ask for a username and password, and you can just press enter and skip through it, is there a way to make win 98 and ME to ask? Instead of auto using your client for microsoft networking password? Thanks
