Hi:
When browsing most websites with Navigator (at least with the Linux/Unix versions) the mouse pointer displays a "hand" while hovering over a link, and then a "clock face" as soon as that link is "clicked on."
This gives a positive indication that the link was selected. The e-smith site doesn't do this...the mouse pointer remains as a hand until the new page loads.
At this moment, I'm only using e-smith as a gateway for our office and it's probably not a big deal, but as it is my intent to set up a webserver at our company as soon as the phone company installs the new lines, I was showing your site to some of my collegues at work. They immediately noticed this, while I had overlooked it.
As a complete incompetant when it comes to computers (you would shudder if you saw the webpages I created to use on a non-esmith apache server) I have no clue if this is inherent to the e-smith package, or merely the way e-smith chose to set up this site.
Has anyone else noticed this? Does it occur when viewing the site with other browsers and other operating systems?
Nitpickingly yours,
Colin Mattoon
