Hi,
I have been trying to install SME onto an MSI motherboard with SATA raid. When I just try to install from the CD the software terminates telling me there are no drives installed.
I got the drivers from the internet for the raid controller after asking here if anyone knew of any.
Now I am asked if I want to install any extra drivers during the first part of the install and when I press the YES button the installation ignores this request and runs anaconda and then of course can't find any disk drives so terminates the install and shuts down the computer.
I know the CD is OK as I have set it up by adding a parallel drive and of course found the drive. i want to use the raid so I can mirror the drives for added security.
Is there anything I am doing wrong ?? I have the raid controller drivers on a floppy in the floppy drive when I say YES to install other drivers.
Any help would be much appreciated.
