Topic: Backup configuration and status stuck at reboot option

I restored an smeserver.tgz file and it's stuck on the following screen, no matter how many times I reboot it's still stuck here:

Backup configuration and status

Tape backups are disabled

A system restore has completed
It began at: Wed May 19 23:17:24 2004
and finished at: Wed May 19 23:52:14 2004

Did you ever discover a fix?

To fix the problem I had to reinstall the os and reconfigure everything. I was unable to determine what caused things to go wrong or how to fix it.
