Topic: could someone please show me the output of lpq

Hi,

Could anyone here be kind enough to show me the output of "lpq" if you also have a printer attached to the parallel port of e-smith.

I have problems with 4.1.2 , the output of "lpq" on 4.1.2 is as below

[root@p133 /etc]# lpq
Printer: missingprinter@p133 - ERROR: spool queue for '
exist on server p133.hkix3.net
   non-existent printer or you need to run 'checkpc -f'

I have setup a test machine and got the same error.

before, I have got 4.1.1 printing going.


What file should I look into /etc/smb.conf ?
the printer section is as below

[printers]
   comment = All Printers
   path = /var/spool/samba
   browseable = no
# Set public = yes to allow user 'guest account' to print
   guest ok = no
   writable = no
   printable = yes


I am not sure whether the logical print queue name should appear somewhere in smb.conf.
