Topic: Spam Assasin Help

Hi,

I want to install Clam Antivirus and Amavis-ng on a SME 6.0.1 using http://www.pagefault.org/howto/e-smith-antivirus.shtml simple instruction. I also want to install the Spam Assasin.

According to the instruction above:

To enable Spamassassin after installing and configuring these packages via the web manager panel at the command line type the commands:

/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop amavis-ng qmail-queue /var/qmail/bin/qmail-spamc
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event email-update

Here's the stupind question from a newbie. Does that mean I dont have to install spam assasin (for example using the http://sme.swerts-knudsen.dk/index.html?frame=http%3A//sme.swerts-knudsen.dk/howtos/howto_16.htm or using the rpm from spam assasin website)?

Spamassassin exists on 6.0.1. (a little outdated) The following link gives you a panel to control it.
