I know its probably not the best time because everyone will have a lot of other things on their minds.... but i wanted to say this before things went down.
the company i work for runs many servers, a couple are SME a few others are a mix of Solaris, debian, Redhat and open BSD, one of our servers was in the process of being upgraded when it had a crash and wouldn't boot up. with our main Tech person 3 hours drive away we were starting to become a little distressed, we phoned him up and he suggested Knoppix, we downloaded it chucked on a CD booted up ran a few commands and then he was able to get on do his work and we were back up in running.
anyway my main reason for this post was to just say how impressed with Knoppix I have become. not only did it save us a lot of time and travel costs, I've been playing round with it and it has one of the best supports for hardware I've seen.
if we ever have to change the base of SME then maybe we should consider the use of debian base Knoppix.
Catch ya later
