Topic: ghosting a drive

I noticed that using ghost to image a sme box no longer works. I've always made a ghost image making sure the boot and the swap partition were the same. The third partition can grow to the size of the destination hard disk. This worked upto sme 6.0
Now there seems to be LILO problems.
There have been previous discussions on this:

but I was wondering if anyone has tried ghosting recently (via either disk to image OR disk to disk)

I had some problem doing images with ghost 7 , when i restored the image the server didn´t work because boot partition didn't restore ok...But with ghost 8 all goes perfectly...I can do and restore images correctly.I recommend to you that you unload ng8 trial from : http://www.symantec.com/sabu/ghost/ghost_personal/ Yo could find a trial version..
